What is the difference of EPDM injection press and TP Injection press?

• TPV/TPE C frame press cooperates with hot runner molds, hot runner system needs to be heated over 200 degrees, and EPDM C frame press cooperates with cold runner molds, cold rubber system should be cooled down to make the rubber temperature inside stay in 60 to 80 degree, not cured;


• Hot runner mold should be cooled down during molding, temperature control unit for hot runner molds is necessary; cold runner mold should be heated during molding;


• Cascade control is only for TPV/TPE press, if without this control, the mold on the press have to link with an extra hot runner valve gate control panel;


• TP C frame press material feeding should cooperates with air dryer, hopper, and auto-loader, because the thermoplastic rubber elastomer granules with high water imbibition should be dried at about 80 degrees for 4 hours in advance, otherwise the final parts are easier to get surface defects and injection weight is not control.
